One of country music’s hottest young stars is set to visit Regina in late 2022.

Five-time American Music Award-winning multi-platinum recording artist Kane Brown will present the Drunk or Dreaming Tour at the Brandt Center on December 9, featuring special guests Jesse James Decker and Restless Road.

Tickets will go on sale to the general public on May 13 via kanebrownmusic.com and Ticketmaster.

The American singer-songwriter – who has been dubbed ‘the future of country music’ – kicks off his international tour on September 17 in Australia before continuing through New Zealand, Canada, the UK and Europe. The tour announcement also coincides with the release of Brown’s new single, Like I Love Country Music, which was available from Friday and is part of a new album due out later this year.

Recently named one of Time’s 100 Most Influential People in the World, Brown’s string of hit songs include: Heaven, What Ifs, Lose It, Good As You, Homesick and One Mississippi.

The Regina Folk Festival has wrapped up its lineup for this year’s event, scheduled for August 5-7 at Victoria Park.

Some of the latest additions include: Burnt Sienna Boulevard, Dump Babes, DJ Durga, DJ Henrika, Ellen Froese, Etienne Fletcher, GRR!, Frazey Ford, Julian Taylor, Katie Tupper, Kris Alvarez, Library Starship, Mark and Jess, MELODNA, Riva Farrell-Racette, Sabeen Ahmad, THINKTANK, Vibes YQR, Wares and Wolf Willow.

The Regina Symphony Orchestra presents Thorgy Thor and the Thorchestra for a special performance Saturday, May 7 at 7:30 p.m. at the Conexus Arts Centre.

RuPaul’s Drag Race star Thorgy Thor has been dubbed the reigning ‘Classic Queen’.

The Art Gallery of Regina’s annual members’ exhibition and sale opened on Friday and will run through May 22.

Free entry.

The event features more than 300 original pieces by approximately 100 artists from across the province.
