Ocean Grove Camp Meeting Association presents the Atlantic Wind Ensemble: “We Remember”

(OCEAN GROVE, NJ) — The Ocean Grove Camp Meeting Association (OGCMA) present The Atlantic Wind Ensemble: “We Remember” with a free concert on Saturday May 28, 2022 at 7:30 p.m. at the Grand Auditorium. The evening includes patriotic/military anthems, popular marches and Americana. The show kicks off the 153rd summer show season.

Founded by Harry D. Eichhorn in 1990 and currently under the direction of Eliot Prowse, with assistant Ted Freeman, the Atlantic Wind Ensemble is a collective of 35 to 45 volunteer musicians carrying on the tradition of coastal wind bands from New Jersey. fun to play and entertain others.

The Atlantic Wind Ensemble are delighted to be back in the Grand Auditorium after completing a ‘normal’ year of concerts at several different venues. This concert will open with Arthur Pryor’s “On Jersey Shore” march which Pryor wrote for his first appearance in Asbury Park in 1904. As in previous years, American Legion Post 432 Spring Lake, NJ will be displaying the colors and helping to honor the United States Armed Forces. .

The Great Auditorium is located at Pilgrim and Ocean Pathways in Ocean Grove, New Jersey. The Grand Auditorium is handicapped accessible. For more information visit www.oceangrove.org or call 732-775-0035.
