The Marlborough Arts Centre, 231 North Main St., will host Grass Routes at “4th Friday at the Arts Cafe” on Friday at 7:30 p.m.
Grass Routes is a five-piece bluegrass band from Connecticut. Since 1980, the band has been delighting audiences with a repertoire ranging from traditional bluegrass standards to folk and contemporary songs, all performed in their bluegrass style.
Doors open at 7 p.m. Admission is $10.
Nutmeg Symphony Orchestra
The Nutmeg Symphony Orchestra presents its Antonin Dvorak Concert, conducted by Music Director Marshall Brown on Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. at Bristol Eastern High School, 632 King St.
The concert will feature the Bristol Eastern High School Chorus, Elizabeth Lyra Ross, soprano, and Chai-lun Yueh, bass.
The program is Dvorak, Symphony No. 8 and Dvorak, Te Deum.
